I bought the 1000mg Salmon oil capsules from Vital Choice.
On the bottle it suggests 2-4 capsules per day.
Is there a difference between taking 2 or 4?
How do I know how many I should take?

Fish oil is a rich source of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), omega-3 fatty acids.

Fish oils seems to protect against heart attack, stroke, cancer and inflammatory diseases like rheumatoid arthritis. It is involved in protection against disease in several ways. The most important include "thinning" the blood and preventing blood clots, and being converted into less inflammatory prostaglandins and reducing inflammation.

If, and ONLY if, you are using a toxic free capsule, you will be fine taking up to four capsules.

You will simply receive more DHA and EPA acid.

Some studies have showed that you may need to take 4x the recommended dosage of what is recommended on labels to fully gain benifits.

If you are relatively healthy, have moderate cholesterol levels and so on..............would take only 1-2 capsules daily.

Check the EPA and DHA mg on the label and inform me how much is in each capsule if you could please.

For TWO capsules, that is an extremely low amount of EPA/DHA, therefore would take a minimum of 4 capsules DAILY.

The label specifically says those are the EPA/DHA numbers for 2 capsules but the Vital Choice website says this :

Our fish oil capsules contain ONLY pure Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon Oil. Each 1000 mg softgel provides approximately 260 mg of total omega-3 fatty acids, including 150 mg of EPA and DHA.

Which do I believe, the website or the bottle?
